Portal de Mística: Private Mountain Estate, Nosara Estates

Description

Portal de Mística is an exceptional private mountain estate nestled within the prestigious gated community of Nosara Estates, designed as a sanctuary for refined living, meaningful gatherings, and elevated wellness experiences. The property comprises a primary 4-bedroom residence, a dedicated 2-bedroom guest house, and an independent first-floor room ideal for office or storage use, offering flexible accommodation for family stays, extended guests, or curated retreat experiences. The architectural design prioritizes seamless indoor-outdoor living, with expansive retractable glass doors connecting main living spaces to generous ocean-view terraces flooded with tropical light. The living area discreetly features a 120-inch private cinema screen, creating an intimate entertainment space. The main house includes a dedicated laundry room and additional storage, while the entire property is supported by solar power with backup systems, reverse-osmosis water purification, and enhanced whole-property Wi-Fi via Starlink satellite connectivity. The outdoor environment has been thoughtfully composed as a collection of distinct spaces: an infinity-edge pool with integrated fountain, a private heated hot tub, expansive terraces positioned for yoga and sunset gatherings, a covered fire pit for intimate evening occasions, and a suspended stargazing net designed to take in the landscape and night sky. Positioned above Nosara's busier areas, the estate enjoys both privacy and proximity to one of Costa Rica's most sought-after coastal destinations. The Nosara Estates community offers sophisticated shared amenities including a clubhouse with lounge and large flat-screen TV, fully-equipped fitness center, juice bar and kitchen facilities, dedicated yoga pavilion, beach volleyball court, tennis and pickleball courts, and a natural waterfall within the property—creating a resort-like environment without requiring guests to venture beyond the gates. This configuration makes Portal de Mística equally suited to those seeking a luxurious private residence, families desiring an elevated retreat setting, or owners interested in hosting intimate wellness retreats, private gatherings, and boutique hospitality experiences. The property invites its next owner to define how they wish to engage with this exceptional space.
